The children are not intimidated at all by the foreign languages. At first, there were a few raised eyebrows, but now it seems everyday to them. We all know that children are much quicker to adapt than adults.

This has been like tapping into a whole bed of energy that's been underground. It's like a volcano erupting.

Being chosen to sing in the National Children's Choir is certainly an honor for any school.

These old homes should not be allowed to be torn down unless there's due process. But, at this point, what can you do.

Students at this level have earned this opportunity to be more independent, as this is a bridge to their upcoming college level experiences.

The safety and security of students is always a priority. Security measures remain in place such as locked doors, security cameras, telephones in classrooms, etc. Students and staff are reminded of these measures periodically and are asked to be on alert for unusual activity, which should be reported immediately.

Diligent practice and preparation in the next two months, along with their classes with Mr. Leck, will transform our children into artistic musicians. It's my desire as their teacher that they be inspired to continue to develop their musical talents and develop a lifelong appreciation of great music.

We have not used corporal punishment in our district for many, many years. Since we weren't really doing it, the policy needed to be revised.

I expect a lot of them, and they are doing well.

Oatmeal in the morning is my thing. I eat it each morning faithfully every single day. Since I am a diabetic, it helps stabilize my blood sugar, and it stays with me until lunch.
